When you first receive your new NiMH battery pack, fully recharge it. Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery - stop using it when you notice a drop in performance. Heat lowers battery life, so do not charge or discharge the battery when it's hot. Always let the batteries cool down to room temperature before using or charging them. Avoid storing the battery with low voltage - recharge it after each use to prevent over-discharge. Store the battery in a dry, cool place, never exposing it to heat or direct sunlight. If the battery will be unused or stored long-term, recharge it once every 6 months.

WARNING: DO NOT CHARGE LIPO BATTERIES. If the label on your battery says LiPO, LIPO, Li-Po, LI-PO, Li-Polymer, Li-Poly, Lithium Polymer, Li-ion, Lithium-Ion, or Lithium, do not charge it. Caution: LiPO battery packs may have two sets of leads/connectors - do not charge if identified as a LiPO battery. Failure to follow these warnings may result in fire or personal injury.
